My fiancé and I wanted to take our engagement photos in the San Diego area. Since we are not from there, we didn't know of any photographers but we found Tiffany Allen Photography on yelp... And we are so happy that we chose her for this special occasion!
First of all, not only was Tiffany so easy to work with, but she was very flexible in her scheduling. We needed our pictures done on a specific weekend, and she made that happen. We shot our pictures in 4-5 different locations and in every location I had so many beautiful shots to choose from. Tiffany really worked with my more flattering angles and got some very unique shots!
When it came to viewing the prints and ordering the pictures that we wanted, Tiffany made it so easy. I never had to ask where our pictures were, she sent them to us in a very timely manner, which is always very nice!
My fiancé and I could not be happier with our pictures. They are exactly what we wanted and we will truly treasure them forever. We definitely recommend Tiffany Allen Photography!

I do not think there is much to be said as you can simply look at Tiffany's photos on her website and see it for yourself - it is obvious - extremely talented photographer!
I can only add that besides her talent, she is a very professional person, it was easy to work with her and I am usually very camera shy, but I felt comfortable with Tiffany and am extremely happy with the job she did.
She is also a very sweet young lady and it was pleasure and fun taking pictures! For once in my life!
Highly recommend, do not think twice.

Absolutely outstanding!!! BEAUTIFUL work, extremely responsive, and such a gracious woman to work with. I had some professional headshots done, and Tiffany (& team) helped me to select outfits, my overall look, and everything to make my shots come out more perfectly than I could have imagined. So thankful that we found Tiffany! She is a joy to work with, and an extremely talented and tasteful photographer with an artful eye and true passion for beautiful photography. Recently we had her do our maternity/family pictures, and then also our newborn/family pictures. Not only did they turn out the was way I was hoping they would, but even better!
This is our second child, and we did family/newborn photos with our first daughter somewhere else that were just mediocre, and I really wish I would have known then to find a photographer that is really good. This moment in life is very special and gone in a blink of an eye, so this time I did lots of research and read reviews when I was looking for a photographer in San Diego to photograph our second child. Good photography is an investment, and you get what you pay for.
I came across an advertisement in The Bump magazine for Tiffany that caught my eye, so I looked at her website with her photos and read her mission statement, and was super impressed- she was what I was looking for! So I contacted her, and in talking to her on the phone and in emails, I knew she understood my vision.
We had such a fun experience during both photo shoots, and felt so comfortable to just be ourselves! Tiffany is such a happy and pleasant person to work with, and she just puts you at ease. She is like a "Baby Whisperer" when it comes to calming down babies, my 5 year old daughter adores her and started calling her Aunt Tiffany, my husband who gets nervous and shy about being photographed was comfortable and able to relax and pose for pictures, and I would call her a new friend. She's super awesome and I am excited to work with her again!

This is going to be long winded, bear with me.
So my fiance and I at the time randomly decided we wanted to get married on our 4 year anniversary June 5, 2013. It marked the end of our college careers and would be a step into something beyond the life of undergrad.
We decided to do this maybe 2-3 weeks before the date? We had gotten engaged December of last year and were planning to get married in 2014 but we just couldn't wait any longer.
With that said, we still wanted to make our day special despite a courthouse wedding by getting dressed up, getting flowers, and taking professional pictures.
Ms. Allen really worked with us by agreeing to book us for a wedding/engagement shoot 2 maybe 3 weeks before our date. Every where I called/emailed, photographers thought I was crazy for trying to book something like this in the beginning of June as well as San Diego being the number one wedding destination. I felt hopeless until Ms. Allen got back to me. We had a great conversation where I told her what we were doing, a simple courthouse wedding where afterwards we would want to take some pictures in a scenic location. She informed me of all the packages and we corresponded through email until the date.
We met in Coronado and it was EXTREMELY WINDY. We went to 3 different locations to try and take pictures and by the end of it I felt like I would have been lucky to get a handful that I liked.
To my surprise, out of the couple hundred pictures she took of us, I wanted to keep them ALL. Our pictures came out way better than I expected. Throughout the process she kept in touch and gave us the proofs the VERY NEXT DAY. How fast is that???? I had told her I was going through a hectic time with graduating, moving all the way to Norcal, preparing for a new job etc, I was not going to be in San Diego by the time the pictures were done. Ms. Allen works so hard to get everything back to you in a timely manner!
The second phone conversation we had was deciding which pictures to get retouched/editted. In my mind they were completely perfect! I had no idea what she was talking about retouching or editting so we just went with what she had in mind. The retouched images were PHENOMENAL!
I ended up purchasing more retouched/editted pictures in my package and love them all. I strongly recommend Ms. Allen for all your photography needs. She is extremely professional, responsive, and talented!
If we ever decide to have a big wedding for our family I would not hesitate to hire Ms. Allen again.

I just had a photoshoot with Tiffany last week. I saw the pictures yesterday and I was blown away! I looked at probably 40 photographer's work on line and her photographs just looked different! Her eye for detail and use of light is amazing! I am so thrilled with the pictures and am excited to see what they look like after she retouches them. I used her makeup person, Erika Lee and Hairstylist, William Williams, both who were fantastic! Plus, Tiffany made the photo shoot fun and relaxing which was a huge task for her as I was super nervous! I highly highly recommend her for what ever you photography needs are! You don't need to look any further!!!

We just received our maternity photos from Tiffany and are completely blown away by her work! I was initially drawn to her sense of style and keen eye. She has a background as an architecture and it is evident in her work. Pregnancy is a special time in a woman's life and Tiffany is able to capture the femininity of the female form and motherhood all at the same time. In addition, she is also able to capture the innocence and purity of newborns. Many photographers can only capture one of these dimensions in their work, however, Tiffany is able to capture them both. This was why we ultimately decided to go with her. When you feel big and pregnant, Tiffany is able to make you feel beautiful and celebrate your body at this time in your life. After seeing what she did with our maternity photos, we can't wait to see what she does with our newborn's photos!

I recently did my maternity photo shoot with Tiffany. I've never done anything like this that showed off my body and I was very shy and uncomfortable going into it. As soon as I spoke to Tiffany and met her, I immediately felt relaxed and excited to do the shoot! I had so much fun at our consultation. Tiffany is seriously AMAZING. I needed headshot done for my beauty business and was hesitant and held off taking them for so long because I can be a little camera shy. When I went to her studio, it was super cute, clean and roomy. I instantly felt comfortable with Tiffany largely due to her being so welcoming and kind but also her space is very open and comfortable.
I've worked with a few photographers but no one has been so detailed oriented and really helped me with posing in the right ways to really get the most flattering angles.

Words cannot express my appreciation for Tiffany. I use my iPhone for daily fun photos, and sometimes see the results of family members using their regular cameras to make memories, but I've never understood the difference between professional equipment, let alone the talent behind the lens.

Words hardly express how I feel about the pictures Tiffany shot of my adult son and myself. My original thought was that we were going to simply have "boring" head shots of Bryan and I sitting by side. However, the pictures are vibrant and alive and actually reflect our relationship!

Being a make up artist in the industry, I knew I would be very selective as to who I wanted to trust with my maternity shoot. Unfortunately there are a lot of very inexperienced photographers out there. So when I stumbled upon Tiffanies work I became hopeful, especially after looking for quite some time.
My vision for my shoot is definitely different then your conventional maternity shoot. I can't express how elated I am with the over all experience. From the time I first reached out her assistant was very on top of being responsive. The day of the shoot of course the nerves kicked in but quickly dissolved as I was met with warm hellos, beautiful bouquet of roses for me to take home, and food. We all know how much a pregnant lady loves her food ;)!
The entire process has been nothing short of professional and my images even before retouching have come out fantastic. Tiffany is not your average "I like taking pictures so I decided to pick up a camera and do it as a profession photographer" she is a legitimate artist with great vision, experience, and talent!

Let's start from the fact that I am very picky when it comes to pictures!
I did my pregnancy photos with Tiffany. When I saw the pictures I was amazed !!!!! Tiffany is so professional. She will listen to what you want , she will make sure you will look perfect in every picture, she will make you feel like a model!! And she will make the husband feel comfortable as well!!
So obviously I came back to her for the newborn session! Wow.. So much patient! She was great with the baby, she prepare the all studio .. Cleaning , heating up the place, we felt so comfortable! And today I went to her to pick the pictures.. I was speechless ! She succeed to get amazing shots of the baby and us!

I used Tiffany for my daughter's newborn photoshoot as well as some studio family pictures. If you check out her website and like her photos, she will not disappoint. Her studio is really cute and she's makes being in front of the camera very comfortable.
We had a followup viewing session of the photos and I loved them all! I had to narrow down the 200+ pictures to a handful and it was so hard to do. I can't wait to get my photos and I'm so glad that I chose to go with Tiffany to capture this once in a lifetime stage of our daughter and family. TIFFANY IS INCREDIBLE! My wife and I are so lucky that we found her. We had her shoot our "cake smash" session for our daughter's first birthday and it was an experience that we will remember forever. She was very accommodating when it came to scheduling and our time constraints given that we planned to use the photos for our daughter's party invitations. Tiffany is a true professional and unbelievably easy to work with.
Tiffany has a real talent and passion for working with children and it shows in her pictures and the way she conducts the session. She was extremely patient and took all the time necessary to fully answer our questions prior to the shoot. And given that this was for our princess' 1st birthday we had a TON of questions. She also gave us great advice on things that we can do before the session to make sure our daughter was comfortable playing with the cake. Tiffany paid amazing attention to detail and made every effort to ensure that our session was exactly the way we envisioned it. She even requested examples of our color scheme to make sure she had the right shade for the backdrop and balloons.
Our session was in her studio and everything was ready when we arrived. The custom cake was gorgeous and placed perfectly in front of the backdrop that we picked out. The balloons were in place and all we needed was the baby! Tiffany's expertise really became apparent after the session started. My wife and I had so much fun watching her capture priceless images of our daughter wrist-deep in frosting. It was a blast!
If you are still reading this review you are probably wondering about the price...Tiffany is by no means "cheap" but she is not even close to the most expensive either. I can guarantee she is the best value and the photographer you NEED to work with. Unlike many of the other photographers around, Tiffany's session price INCLUDES the raw digital images and a set number of RE-TOUCHED images.
Bottomline: Talented, professional, accommodating and passionate.

I have done some fitness/lifestyle modeling before but had no experience in doing boudoir. Tiffany went above and beyond in making me not only feel comfortable, but confident and beautiful as well. She provided guidance and direction when necessary in a gently and helpful way to ensure that I looked my absolute best in every picture. The only downside to shooting with Tiffany is having too many beautiful pictures to choose from!!! The images are all classy, tasteful and beautiful. My Fiancé and I were on a tight timeline and tight budget to have engagement photos taken, as our wedding and wedding photographer are in Virginia. Tiffany was able to schedule us within 15 days and create a package our budget could handle.
We showed up to the beach, props in hand, and Tiffany was there and excited to begin shooting. It took less than 5 minutes of talking to make us both feel comfortable and set a great mood! When the clouds rolled in and the sun was no where to be seen, I figured we would get some good shots, but I did wonder if they would be just average. When the proofs came in I was elated, they weren't okay... they were exactly what brought me to reach out to her in the first place, gorgeous! It was so hard choosing which photos, as there were so many great ones, which is the problem everyone wants when buying photos.

I wish I could review Tiffany twice because she's done two photo shoots for me. The first was with my daughter and a very pregnant me. She was so professional yet down to earth throughout the shoot. She was great with my daughter who is almost 2yrs old (not an easy age!). The pictures were lovely and I proudly hang an awesome pregnant belly shot in my house.
The second shoot Tiffany did for me was of my newborn son. She was wonderful with him!! I was a little nervous having someone handle my newborn, but she was calm, gentle and very safe with him. He even pooped on her and she was totally unphased by it! The pictures were breathtaking. It is such a treat to now have these priceless pictures of my baby boy. He looks like an angel in each one.

We hired Tiffany to take photos for both our Engagement Photos and Wedding. Wow ! She was amazing to work with from start to finish and has an immense amount of talent as a photographer. She traveled up to San Francisco for our Engagement Photos and took shots at some of our favorite bay-area locations. Amazing work even with some tough SF weather!
Tiffany and her team also captured the magic that was our wedding day! We got married in San Diego this past May and she did superb work of documenting the entire day and had a great eye for capturing both the sentimental shots and the fun action shots. The pictures are truly beautiful and super-high quality. After the wedding, Tiffany made it very easy to get the photos from her both uploading them to a protected site and then sending a larger number of them on a hard drive. My fiance and I met with at least 6 photographers before we met Tiffany, and we were sooo happy we found her! Tiffany was not only so sweet but very professional right off the bat.
We live in Savannah, GA and wanted our engagement shoot done in Savannah which was an issue to the other photographers. When we asked Tiffany if she could come to Savannah to do our shoot.. she was more than excited to come to Savannah which made this experience that much better.

I was hesitant to spend money on maternity shots when it seemed like such a gamble given I definitely was not looking (of feeling) my best at 31 weeks, nor did I have any clue where or how to find a good photographer.
Photography bundles for newborn/maternity quickly pass the thousand dollar range and I was not sure that the super posed, very prop based infant, or scenery based maternity shots were even what I wanted.
I ended up choosing Tiffany because of her yelp reviews and website gallery. Neither were really extensive at the time, but everything I could find was quality and her prices were within my reach. I am so, so glad I chose to go with her.
Tiffany did my maternity shoot at my house and brought everything. I could barely find an outfit to wear, yet Tiffany, with her amazing eye and few clutch props (which she brought and paid for... material/lace, flowers and costume jewelry) was able to create some of the prettiest photos I've seen of myself (pregnant or not). The photos ended up somehow having a perfect blend of calendar quality and real life feel. She really captured my pregnancy, and life at that time, and made it look so much better than what I'd expected/imagined. On top of being an amazing photographer and affordable, Tiffany herself was a pleasure during the shoot. I felt like a friend had cover to take my pictures by the time she left. I am genuinely looking forward to her returning for the newborn photos and know whatever shots she takes will be amazing. The money I spent on these photos was well worth it; I'd recommend Tiffany to anyone.

I hired Tiffany to do a maternity session for me after I spent hours upon hours searching through photographer websites to find someone who had the "look" that I wanted in their finished product. Her portfolio just looked "different." They were more than just snapshots.
I had literally waited until the last minute of my pregnancy to get the photos taken, so my expectations were low on how "glowing" I would look. (I was 37 weeks)
First off, Tiffany was out of the country when I decided I wanted to do the photos. Despite being on vacation and out of the country, she promptly responded to emails. This continued throughout the entire process that I worked with her. She was easy to get a hold of and very quick to respond. I never felt like I was "waiting" for her to respond. Second, I got my proofs and the finals back very, very quickly. I have found that with other photographers that I have worked with in the past, it just took forever to get the photos back.
Third, she involved me in the selection/retouching process, not just selecting/retouching what she thought should be retouched. I super appreciated that, especially with doing maternity photos. I think that doing such intimate photos, the one being photographed should be involved in the selection and retouching process.
Lastly, I could not be happier with my photos. We did some with my husband and daughter, which turned out wonderfully. I also went out on a limb and did some photos that were completely nude and some wearing intimate style clothing. Being incredibly pregnant and not wearing much clothing is an awkward situation, however, Tiffany made things so comfortable. She was professional and I never ever felt uncomfortable. She was able to cover the intimate areas with a bending of a leg or slightly moving a piece of clothing, without making it look purposeful.
The photos that she captured were classy and timeless. I don't think that I have ever felt more beautiful than I did on that day. The final product was beyond amazing and anything that I could have ever expected. The photos were absolutely beautiful, they had that "different" look that I really wanted. They were above and beyond just pictures of my belly. I think that anyone can snap pictures of someone's belly. Tiffany has an incredibly unique talent for just the right outfit, the right angle, the right lighting, the right shadowing. For instance, there was a particular outfit that she recommended and despite being on the fence about it, I listened to her, and those photos in that outfit ended up begin some of my favorite.
Tiffany has a talent and an eye for what she does. I know that she expects perfection out of what she is giving a client. Her work stands out from the rest of mediocre work that looms about on the internet. I would absolutely recommend hiring Tiffany to do maternity photos and others. She is talented, professional, and it's very obvious that she loves what she does. I will be a repeat customer and will recommend her to anyone that needs life moments captured in a unique, artful, and classy way.

I recently had my maternity photos taken with Tiffany and was so amazed with how beautifully they turned out! I've had professional pictures done in the past and have never been happy. Tiffany shot my boudoir photos in February. Being half naked for an hour in front of a stranger is not an easy thing for most people, and while I've been photographed before, I wouldn't say I am super comfortable in front of the camera. Tiffany was ~incredible~ at making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She is so sweet and so helpful - I can't stress this enough! She found my "angle" and now whenever someone takes a photo I know the poses that are the most flattering for my face and body.
+1 star for her stylist, who helped me not only put together the lingerie, but had a really trendy/effortless sexy accessory bank of fun body jewelry and stuff for me to choose from.

I had both my maternity and newborn shoots with Tiffany and she is AMAZING! Hire her now! I started researching photographers in the area, and found Tiffany on Yelp and Facebook. Since the reviews were outstanding and the portfolio just as incredible, we went ahead and booked the maternity/newborn package. Tiffany made my husband and I feel so comfortable during our maternity shoot. She made me feel beautiful at 33 weeks pregnant and the resulting photos were gorgeous.
The newborn shoot was so precious! Tiffany is so good with babies. As a first time mom, I actually picked up a few infant-calming techniques from her! Definitely try to go before baby turns 10 days old. They're more moldable. We had to schedule ours for day 15 and baby wasn't as cooperative. Highly recommend Tiffany!

Best money we have spent in a long time!!
Tiffany recently worked with us on a shoot for our newborn. We actually booked her for two additional shoots for our daughter this year as well as part of her Watch Me Grow package, which entitles us to a discount in price. When we arrived at her studio we were warmly welcomed, offered beverages, and made to feel very comfortable in the space. Tiffany had laid out an array of different wraps, blankets, headbands and other props for us to choose from to use during the shoot. The shoot lasted 3 hours, but unfortunately for us our baby was excessively fussy that day, so not much was accomplished. Because of this, and understanding the unpredictability of newborns, Tiffany offered to reshoot a 30 minute session on another day to get the shots we wanted. Tiffany was great while working with our newborn and it was evident that she truly enjoys newborn photography, no matter how difficult or frustrating it may seem. Within a week of our second shoot we met with her to review the photos. We were amazed at what she was able to capture considering how uncooperative our baby had been. We loved them so much we decided to purchase additional images!!
We have both friends and family friends that are photographers and could have easily asked them to photograph our newborn, and probably at a heavily discounted price, however, we fell in love with Tiffany's body's of work and wanted the best possible pictures we could get. Luckily for us, she did not disappoint both creatively and technically. And to top it all off, her delightful and calming nature made her a dream to work with. We can't wait to work with her in documenting our daughters milestones in the coming year :)

When my wife first approached me about doing maternity/newborn photos, I was hesitant due to the cost. After seeing Tiffany's portfolio online and meeting with her in person we decided to have her capture this special time in our lives. It's not everyday you have your first child. Tiffany was a true professional and the photos turned out great! We can't wait for the final images and for her to take our newborn photos once baby arrives.

I searched and searched and searched for portrait photographers in San Diego (even Orange County and LA) and when I finally found Tiffany it was like boom! done.
I was looking to get some nice photos of myself taken, but all I kept finding were executive/corporate headshot photographers. I didn't want to look stiff, nor did I want some cheesy glamour shot. I wanted a tasteful, elegant portrait of myself, and that's exactly what Tiffany provided!
First of all, her studio/home is adorable! I felt so welcome from the moment I walked in the door. She's so relaxed and calm, and her directives were perfect given that getting your picture taken can feel pretty awkward.
I loved that throughout the session she kept offering me her camera so I could scroll through the photos she'd taken and get a sense of what I needed to change in order to achieve the look I was going for. (I've had pictures taken before where the photographers are always like "no no no, you can't see them til the end" and that's so frustrating.)
I had no issue with pricing - her quality is superb and worth every penny!
Overall I'm very, very pleased, and will definitely be back when I need more photos taken!

It's so hard to put into words how I feel about Tiffany, but I'll try! She was an absolute Dream to work with! I was the makeup and hairstylist for one of her clients on a recent photoshoot and Tiffany's ability to capture that perfect mommy glow and make her client feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera was amazing to watch. She was hands down one of the best photographers I have worked with, I only wish we had met sooner so we could've worked together more. I can't say enough great things about her.! She was so friendly and made the entire shoot easy and amazing. I couldn't wait to see the final images and Tiffany was fantastic about letting me have a few (with clients consent) for my own business. Her photos feature the client so beautifully they are the best in my portfolio. I adored working with her and so did the clients, who proceeded to book their newborn session with her. Anyone in San Diego county should definitely experience the Tiffany Allen treatment. Good luck in all your future endeavors. I know you'll nail it no matter what it is.
